Marnie Jones
Jones came to a professional recording career late in life -- after 15 years of working in the industrial design field. Though she had sung and played guitar as an avocation since childhood, Jones later taught herself to play the harp and began releasing albums of improvised music for that instrument. Her more recent recordings show a steady growth in her abilities as a performer and composer of tender, contemplative music that Jones herself says is great for meditation, relaxation, or massage. ~ Linda Kohanov, All Music Guide
