Michael Edmonds
Michael Edmonds is an independent Gospel recording artist, songwriter and producer. His ministry has been said to be a breath of fresh air to the industry and the world. Platinum recording artist, producer, and pastor, Ben Tankerd, who has a clientel which includeds multi-platinum recording artist such as Yolanda Adams, say this about Michael's ministry. "I like his music, it's different and the writing style is unique. Michael has also enjoyes the success of being the first "local" artist in the Charleston and surrounding areas, to have a top five radio single as well as a successful apperance on the legendary Appollo Ameutur Night in Harlem, New York. As God's ambassador, Michael is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel to the meek, the poor, the rich and the afflicted; also to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and opening the eyes to those who are bound and blind. Born in Queens N.Y., Michaels has been singing in the church since the age of six. By the age of nine, Michael moved to South Carolina with his grandparents. At the age of sixteen, Michael was signed to a recording contract with a label based in New York City. At this time, Michael became a member of New Life Christian Fellowship. After hearing the word of God come forth with boldness, power, and convinction, Michael felt the call of God on his life. He then yielded to the Holy Spirit, answered his call, and was able to get out of the contract by the grace of God. Michael now serves as a member of the praise and worship team at New Life Christia Fellowship Church, under the anointed leadership of Dr. Dexter and First Lady Barbara Easley. While a part of New Life Christian Fellowship, God had done awsome things in his music ministry.
