Michael Waynick was born hearing Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers, raised listening to the Beatles and Motown, and educated by Brian Eno and Morrissey. Aside from a ravenous appetite for music, his other obsessions include Jackie Chan movies; Zen Buddhism; the works of Friedrich Nietzsche; his wife, Barbara Waynick; and their dogs, Charlotte and Laika. To support his expensive habits, he's endured stints as reporter, cab driver, and safety writer in a nuclear power plant.
