Jorge Ruiz A.KA. "MK" Microphone Killa was born in Dallas, TX. He was raised in a neighborhood called Oak Cliff. He is the second oldest of 3 brothers and 3 sisters. His parents being from Mexico immigrated in the early 70's looking for a better life in the U.S. Rap music has always attracted MK ever since he was a young child. Later on in his life MK found out he had a gift to write lyrics/music and at age 16 he and his older brother {formed a group called "A Touch of Latin"} with the help of Marcos B and DJ Tool, MK recorded a song called "Chicano Flavor". The song won several MC battles in the DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) area, giving him local air play and his first interview. As he got older the streets got hotter, whether you liked it or not, gang banging was A MUST". I was raised in the streets all my life", he says. "I bring my life to the mic, the streets to stages and I don't give a fuck if I catch a murder case," he quotes on one of his rhymes. At the age of 18 he did catch a murder case. He got locked up!. As time past by he fought his case. "It was hard in that motherfucker" he quoted, a lot of times I almost lost hope. "I was only 18" he says and I would always think about all the shit that I had never done and all the shit I would never do again. I made a promise to god and to myself in-spite of the fucked up situation I was in; If I were to ever get out of this one that "I was going drop an album". God must of really heard me or loved me, cuz when I went to court (plus I had a good lawyer) there wasn't enough evidence. I mean those motherfuckers busted there ball's trying to get the jury to find me guilty, but everything backfired on them. When the juror got up and said "NOT GUILTY", I felt alive again!. It was like my time wasn't up yet, You Feel Me? I had a second chance. As soon as I got out I went to look for music producer Marcos B. I started working, hustling and did whatever it took to drop my first Aztec Tribe Album. Oh, that's the name I choose for my group. I didn't want to forget my culture or where I came from. I dropped my first album called "Controversial Background", after that "The 13th Sign" and then the "We Don't Give a Fuck" Album. In 2003 I dropped my first solo album called "Mexican Gangsta Shit",which is now a classic in the dirty south. What I would like to do is Introduce a New Sound to the World. "A Dirty South Meskin Style", (The question is "ARE YA'LL READY?) all of my albums have gotten alot of air play in the south. I've done shows with Triple6Mafia, Lil' Jon and The Eastside Boyz, Kumbia Kings, Ramon Ayala, DJ Laz, Mr. Pookie, Mr. Luccie, Kid Frost, Into Deep, Lighter Shade of Brown, Chingo Bling (retard ass!), Ludacris, Capone and the list goes on. I am currently working on a third solo album
