Million Yen

The brainchild of Chicago-area "studio geek" Andy Gerber, this quartet began its official discography in 1999 when the group released a 7" single, which received wide praise and acclaim for its power pop sensibilities. The group has opened for numerous bands, including Gigolo Aunts, Goo Goo Dolls, and Cheap Trick. In 2001, the group returned to its own studio, Million Yen, to record a debut album, Blue Television Window. The group continues to play in the Chicago area, as well as various musical showcases and conferences. ~ Jason MacNeil, All Music Guide
