MUSIC has influenced my life since my earliest memories of listening to my parents 8track and vinyl records back in the early 80's, covering everything from disco, jazz, rocknroll, to rhythem & blues. then around 1983 i started getting into the b-boy scene which is really what started my obsession with electronic music. Then Hip-Hop came along which at that time in my life as a young hoodlum connected with me like bread and butta. I LOVE real Hip- Hop(a tribe called quest, Das efx, mos def, common, rakim & eric b, people under the stairs, ect) Then in 1994 I went to this "rave" with a few old friend and it was like walking into another dimension, chris sick, nebula, and hypa were rokkin the decks and from that day I knew this was what I was meant to do! I started going to raves every satruday night. That was the fist time id seen a b-boy circle for years, and thats why breakbeats run it. Then In 1996 I realized it was time to follow my passion and bought my first set of turntables, they were gemini tables which were very hard to learn on cuz they werent as precise as technics. Then after 8 months I had saved up and bought the cadilac of tables 2 technics 1200's and a PA system. I started taking my setup to house parties around ogden with my homie jeff devera and we had some good times, then in 98' I I played my first real GIG in Phoenix, AZ(yes my first gig was out of state and i was nervous as hell, but I rocked that sht. I played a bunch or SLC parties and threw 4 0r 5, but then after a couples years I decided to take it to the next level started producing music and opened up a record store called NUTRIBE Records in Ogden. Unfortunately, due to some bad financial luck and having a baby on the way, I closed down the record store after 6 months to get a more stable job and I enrolled in colledge. I started to get serious about music prodiction and began building up my studio equipment(currently: Customised laptop/cakewalk's project 5(check it out it puts reason to shame!) ableton live/novation x-station/korg esx1/roland sh-32/m-audio b8 monitors/ m-audio trigger finger/ and a **** of software synth's, samplers, samples, ect) After 8 years of learing how to work all of this shit im finaly ready to put out quality tracks. In a couple months my first record(wicked) will be in a crate near you (which is way overdue) most of the tracks im working on are nuskool breakz and dubstep so keep checkin the sight for updates and peace to all the kats who have influenced me over the years.
