Muhmood is a one man act. Muhmood's music is an inappropriate mixture of all kinds of styles, so there is no point in trying to lable it by one genre. Starting from a capellas, going thru experimental ambient and electronic with an ethnic streak [mostly middle eastern] and creative percussion, ending with heavy guitar riffs and powerful drum sets. Alexei Biryukoff is the founder and the only member of Muhmood, who has played in several local underground bands over the years since 1998. He is also a full time artist, who creates conceptual projects that include paintings, installations, music and performances. In 2004 was recorded the first album the soundtrack for the scandalous Naked Loneliness show, that was closed by the local officials.
