My Glorious Mess
The night before last I sat upright in bed and dreamed I wasn't dreaming anymore. It was as it was before there was. The river, a symphony of sound overflowed to the sewers and we were naked and yawning. I heard the strains and scrawled them into the book you provided for me. Shaking on the front lawn of a mansion on a hill on a street called 'Little' where the turning road turned onto itself, I witnessed the light break land. Here we stand she claimed. Your burden is mine and mine all mine. I whispered I loved like this before. She told me she knew. But before I could my words fell apart, and so alone in the dark we share them with you.
