Nahid Niazi
Nahid Niazi and Moslehuddin both began their music careers in Pakistani films of the 1950's. In the 1960's, as TV came to Pakistan they were the first husband and wife team on TV and started the first children's music program. Nahid Niazi lives in England and continues to work on music projects and frequently records TV programs for PTV and the BBC. Nahid Niazi and Moslehuddin were both recipients of the President's Pride of Performance and the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz medals presented to them by the President of Pakistan in the late 1960's. They were the first National artistes to receive the honour.
