SirKriS_360's Album Review for Sweat
""
Nelly makes history with garbage.
Of all rappers worthy of being the first to simultaneously release a pair of albums on the same date, did it have to be Nelly? Sweat and Suit are nothing more than marketing hoaxes with the dangerous potential to make hip-hop purists bitter-faced and feeling shamefully icky. Sweat starts off tacky and never recovers, what with Nelly ripping off NBA theme music on "Heart of a Champion." (Just be thankful that basketball commentator Marv "Yesss!" Albert doesn't end up sharing a rhyme.) Geared toward the club scene, Sweat's remaining tracks fall well short of jump-starting any party, unlike his 2002 single "Hot in Herre," which continues to do it right.
