The No Name Band, also known as A Banda Sem Nome, was born in Bauru 350 km São Paulo in February 2004 in a combined test by friends Braga, Wells, Thiago, Gustavo and Marcelinho, with the proposal despretenciosa to play some covers, more focused on expressing ideas, feelings, experiences and develop their own music from noise influences of its members. The training took a while to mesh, both by the lack of good equipment as a musical incompatibility.That led to the departure of Marcelinho (guitar) and Gustavo (speech). Months later Gustavo was brutally murdered, the death of former vocalist has shaken the very same band as it does not touch the fact there was more together destroyed the friendship between them.After a few months the frequency of tests and improved band set up with Thiago Braga (voice / guitar), Wells (voice / guitar) and Thiago de Paula (drums) where there are often turns on the instruments in an attempt to create other possibilities, and even add other tools to try to better execution. In 2005 they did a few presentations but dozens of recorded sounds, with poor quality due to the lack of resources but things would be worked later. In the same year Braga moved away from the band for a while, in this period Wells and Thiago played what remained of the band, record a CD that was never disclosed, even a show twice as a duet (guitar / drums).With the return of Braga after nearly a year the band is in a closed garage to retrieve the line, behind the stage, rehearsing, recording and still without a bassist. August 2007, the band met in a studio to record twelve Treble sounds of a CD that has not been released so far, everything the band has returned to the disclosure of their music through the site myspace.com / abandasemnome and some other sites.Between the end of 2007 and beginning of 2008 the band finally found a bassist, Jonah Field, a friend who decided to accept the invitation to identify with the sound.At the beginning of 2008 the band was invited to launch material for a small seal from Germany, CMP (ContraMusikProduction), but the lack of money again postponed an official release.Despite failing to finish a CD that in addition to good quality recording had also visual art booklet and the band continues to write your own songs for free advertising on the Internet.All members composing the music, that sometimes are made and recorded in single sessions. There is also a work with images and text made with the intent to expand and emphasize our artistic language.The main influences are the post-punk, the experimental noise, the alternative rock and metal bands also the foreign like: Joy Division, The Fall, Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, Pavement, The Cure, Radiohead, Pixies, My Dad is Dead, Smashing Pumpkins, Deftones, Sigur Ros ... and Brazilian bands such as: Legião Urbana, Sepultura, Los Hermanos, and so on. Estranho, mas o não nome da banda se dá ao fato de rejeitarmos qualquer rótulo que nos seja aplicado e tambem a grande dificuldade em se conseguir reconhecimento ou simplesmente despertar o interesse do público quando se faz música própria fora dos padrões comercias,ainda mais em Bauru, onde a maioria do publico e bandas desenvolvem interesse demasiado pelo cover. Valorizamos a criação e identidade musical, consequentemente divulgamos nossa música de maneira que a conquista ou não de um público se dá pela consequente identificação das pessoas a nossa liguagem. Nossas influências vem na grande maioria de bandas estrangeiras, a maior parte dessas tambem são bandas de rock dos anos 70 até as mais recentes,mas temos influências tambem de musica experimental, instrumental, clássica , metal,Jazz, etc... O som da banda é basicamente post punk, com guitarras pesadas e distorcidas junto a guitarras limpas e bem harmoniosas, todos os integrantes compõem as músicas, que as vezes são feitas e gravadas em sessões únicas . Existe tambem um trabalho com imagens e textos feitos com intenção de ampliar e enfatizar nossa linguagem artistica. A banda foi formada em fevereiro de 2004 e tem hoje 4 membros em sua atual formação que se revezam nos instrumentos na tentativa de ampliar possibilidades sonoras, seguem os nomes: Jonas de Campos: baixo, bateria; Thiago Rodrigues: bateria, guitarra, baixo, letras; Thiago Braga: guitarra,voz, baixo, teclados, bateria, letras Walace: guitarra, voz, baixo,teclados, letras,bateria. A banda têm 3 cds No Name Album de 2005,As Far as Possible de 2007 e Dedicated to... 2008 com 12 músicas gravado ao vivo em agosto do ano passado no RMS estúdio em Agudos, o título do cd, chamado Dedicated To ..., (quem em português significa dedicado á) tambem reforça a idéia de que pra banda mais vale a obra do que o próprio criador. Os instrumentos são revezados,por isso não temos uma formação pré estabelecida Release English: In February 2004 a group of friends decided to join and make music in order to express feelings,experiences,ideas,etc... They formed a band at first made up of five guys playing three guitars,drums and one singer,there was many songs that were created before the begining of the band as some of its members came from another groups,but the way followed turned out to be strange because sometimes it was impossible to hear some voice between the noisy guitars sounding in very bad equipments.
