Noah Sasso is one of the “Kracfive four," along with colleagues Chris Graves, Reim Kettel and Joe Miragliuolo. Together, they run the label and initially, at least, have been responsible for all of the releases, either individually or in various combinations. Sasso, Graves and Miragliuolo all attended school at the University of New Hampshire (Kettel is Dutch, and lives in Europe). Sasso's most obvious influences are the big techno names such as Orbital, Aphex Twin and Matmos, but his own listening tastes are eclectic, and he is just as likely to be exploring hip hop or 20th century classical music as he is to be listening to his techno contemporaries. By his own admission, much of his early work was a reaction against things he didn't like, or an attempt to avoid predictable genres and styles. His own music, to date, has been on the lighter side of heavy, but it displays sophistication and is sometimes quirky, with a whimsical surface and also some depth. ~ Bill Tilland, All Music Guide
