Opende has developed a keen ability to "hear beyond the sound". He began to write songs and perform in the mid 90s with a few bands influenced partly by the pop culture, and by his natural heritage, but remained more of a writer/composer than a performer. In recent years, Opende did stints as a Dj in trendy Nairobi and Mombasa clubs, and later curved a niche in computer-based music production. What he now brings to the world of music is a time-tested sweet blend of harmonies and melodies spiced up in modern beat, seasoned with juicy rhythms that will richly satisfy your audial taste buds!
