Otto's Daughter
Combining theatrical live shows and a gothic industrial sound, Otto's Daughter is one of the many aggressive electronica groups to emerge around the turn of the century. Formed by drummer HH Gadget, the band also features European born vocalist Jacqueline Van Bierk, bassist S.A. Sebastian Gnolfo, and guitarists Dan Esser and Jim Robbins. Highly influenced by the pop/industrial scene of the early/mid-90's, the band took its cue from artists like Nine Inch Nails and Garbage to develop its savage but melodic sound. The group's first album, Void of Course, arrived on Angelwhore Records in 2000, as did the follow-up, 2002's Renew. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
