scott monroe-percussionist extraordinaire
over 40 years in Reno/Tahoe area as a drummer and percussionist I have performed with such greats as Sammy Davis, JR., Ray Charles, Tony Orlando, Charo, Susanne Somers, Bernadette Peters, Roy Clark and many other accomplished performers/artists as well as various orchestral venues. Musical education includes a Bachelor"s of Music from San Fransisco State where my studies included new music genres and world music which was African, Latin, and Asian gamlean. With the vibraphone and the use of loop's I have captured a uniquely pleasant sound that still maintains the edge of raw live play. New sounds erupt or soothe but always are new and fresh. Performing 20th Century music in the 21st Century that sounds like music in the 22nd Century. Give it a listen.
