Jonathan Heslop (Planet Bliss) has been producing Electronic music since the mid 90s having been influenced by up-tempo artists like Orbital, The Chemical Brothers and down-tempo/Ambient artist like Edge of Motion, Brian Eno, Fila Brazillia. His music combines intricate, powerful beats with multi-layered and evolving synth soundscapes. From 1996 to 1998 Jonathan studied Popular Music at the "Carlisle Collage of Art and Design". Over the 2 year course he learned how to work in a live and studio environment. Learning some key skills in stage setup, live recording and mastering/production. It was during, but outside this course that Jonathan progressed his skills at using Synthesizers, Samplers, Computers and his composition skills. Jonathan is currently Finishing off his first Album for release in mid/late 2005. He is also working on Down Tempo re-mixes for independent and commercial artists including Faithless, FSOL and Artefact.
