Poorly Built Parachute is a dark-ambient, drum and bass duo from Nashville, TN. With a sound that shadows the vibe of Portishead and Nine Inch Nails as well as the dance of Dieselboy and Black Sun Empire, this outfit is overflowing with originality. However, the two members do not have the history you might expect. Dave Darr (keys, synths, vocals)grew up playing in metal/hardcore bands and even ran a metal magazine for a few years called Uprise Zine. Kevin Tetuan (keys, circuit-bend, drums, vocals) currently plays in the Nashville rock band Knapsackheroes. On July 1, 2008 they compiled a disc of 14 tracks of past electronic recordings "Evolution In Color." The debut album is simply the foundation and they are currently writing all new material due out early next year.
