Professor's Blues Revue

"Professor" Eddie Lusk worked frequently as a session keyboardist during the 1970s and '80s on the Chicago blues scene. His own revue showcased several singers over the years, notably Gloria Hardiman (featured on their "Meet Me With Your Black Drawers On" on Alligator's 1987 anthology, The New Bluebloods) and Karen Carroll, principal singer on the band's 1989 Delmark album, Professor Strut. Tragically, Lusk took his own life by plunging into the Chicago River. ~ Bill Dahl, All Music Guide
