Quartermile's roots began in a garage in Skokie, IL, where Shinya Sono and Jon Pomerantz picked up their first guitars. Many moons later, they were joined by singer Mark Chang, drummer Paul Carey, and bassist Bruce Rarang to complete their entourage. Quartermile has now emerged as a staple of Chicago's music scene delivering a unique sound of rock reminiscent of 90's alternative movement blended with the new rock genre of today. The release of their first self-titled demo developed loyal support and motivation to create their first full length album, "Lake Effect." They have now embarked on their journey with a message and a brand new sound.
