I won't try to convince you that I invented the C-note; musical notes came into existence a long time ago. The drum was invented a long time ago. Synthesizers might have sounded like Elroy Jetson back then, but even they are accepted as basic sampling tools now. It's what you do with the paint on your canvas that makes you standout. I'm stimulated from the trillions of musical arrangements that have been played throughout my childhood up to this present day. Stock brokers on Wall Street have numbers and symbols in their head all day, just like attorney's need to remember the outcome of so many old and new cases to stay sharp. Me, I'm processing bits and pieces of sound subconsciously during whatever it is I'm doing at the moment - right now as I speak. I'm walking in rhythm without even trying! (laughs) Honestly, I could probably identify with at least TWO songs from ANY ALBUM ever recorded, any genre, I just love music so much. I'll probably find one song I can relate to in a pick-me-up, classic comedy sense, and one song with a relaxed, classic tragedy vibe to it - even if the artists didn't intend for me to extract what I extracted, if it's up to me to gather my own information, I can manipulate the usefulness in at least 2 songs on ANY album. After a while, I guess the sounds and rhythms become a part of my musical DNA or whatever. A Quest Production instrumental starts with my ear for music - as chambered thoughts and emotions get reproduced into the physical form of 'beatboxing', keyboard track or whatever, I compose and arrange them all in various tempos for all occasions. Easy on the ears, hard on the competition. In due time I will, in tribute of those before me, catch the ears of millions and influence many more after me. I only know one person who ventured out on their own and made it big, and that person has more drive than 4 wheels, ya dig? Studio time costs money, talent does not. Take advantage of the internet if you can't afford to put quality promotional CD's on the street or pay some disc-jockey to play your song. The opportunity for EVERY ARTIST to be heard is infinite here on MP3.COM. I've always had my niche, I just never had the opportunity to elevate the public view on the current level of creativeness in the music industry. I thank MP3.COM for providing such a wonderful platform for up-and-coming artists such as myself.
