Rakim is undoubtably the most talented emcee ever. He's been a pioneer from the start of his career, and he's been producing quality music for the last 3/4ths of hip hop's era. Some call him a pioneer, I call him a legend. The only thing that people see as a flaw in Rakim's style is that he's "boring", but that's only because he makes his songs to coincide with his perfected way of writing lyrics, he doesn't just release garbage with a beat that is "good dancing music."
