Razorlight, eh?

Hmmm, before my brother bought the album, I cannot say that I was mightily impressed by any of Razorlight's songs. I thought that Golden Touch was overplayed and had never bothered to listen to all of Stumble and Fall because I didn't particularly like the lyrics to the first verse. And so, when I mosied into his room to see what new CD he had, I was surprised to hear that it was Razorlight. From that day forth, I have adopted it as my own album and it currently resides in my wonderful collection, between The Datuns and Kings of Leon.
Particular favourites on the album are Vice, Don't go back to Dalston, and Fall, Fall, Fall. All are wonderful songs which I think show how versatile Johnny Borrell's voice is. I think that Fall, Fall, Fall is lovely yet bittersweet - so disappointing when it ends. And the emotion in Don't go back to Dalston never fails to grab me. I have listened to this album quite a lot and I can honestly say I think it's an amazing collection of great songs.
