Spawned in 2005 in the back alleys of SE Minnesota, Re-Animated is a power trio fronted by dynamic rock vocalist & lead guitarist Deb Dhampyr. Adding Dhampyr's adept keyboard skills and the masterful bass work of Nate Noir (clearly inspired by Cliff Burton) to the mix, you're presented with a sound that seamlessly blends hard rock, alternative, and metal into a unique style all their own. Released early this year and influenced by bands like Metallica, Godsmack, Nickelback & Evanescence, Re-Animated's self-produced debut album The Dream Cycle EP gives the listener a small taste of what is still to come. When asked how she intends to play more keys and still play the guitar she responds, "As long as I don't have to play them both at the same time, I'll be fine." When questioned about his future hopes for Re-Animated Noir States, "When Deb and I started writing together we had very different styles, but we've come together a great deal since then. I'm hoping our full-length CD will bring us closer to a sound that defines us."
