By far, the best techno innovator in the world Of course, there is Svan Vath and Jeff Mills and many others from his time but Richie Hawtin has and continues to set the standard for how techno is produced and spun live on the decks. After seeing him numerous times, I've always left the warehouse/club/venue in total awe and exaustion and still wanting more even after four and five hour sets. I can agree with a review from another member here. There was only one time I saw Richie Hawtin (in Miami) when he actually wasn't the headliner. Fat Boy Slim headlined and was the crowd favorite. I was totally bored and dissapointed with Fat Boy Slim after Richie's set.
