Keyboardist and composer Rick Rhodes was perhaps best known among fans of daytime soap operas -- his work for series including Santa Barbara, Another World and Guiding Light notched him a total of five Emmy Awards. In addition to also composing material for films including True Lies, Mars Attacks! and McHale's Navy, Rhodes also wrote songs for a variety of other television and theatrical productions, and even worked in the interactive game market; his solo albums included 1994's Now You See It, 1995's Indian Summer and 1998's Deep in the Night. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
