Robert Horton
Not to be confused with the jazz trombonist from the '20s, this Robert Horton's contribution to swinging music was to concoct an album cover in which composer and multi-instrumentalist Anthony Braxton's face is sliced up and mounted onto four equal-sized postage stamps. Horton's work, perhaps looking forward to the era when Braxton will appear on stamps, was used as the cover on a collection of Braxton compositions recorded by the Bay Area ensemble Splatter Trio. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, All Music Guide
