The band, which was recently founded by four friends in the beginning of the year 2005, exposes itself as a group of motivated young people. Bringing along diverse musical influences, they describe their special style as “chewed rock”, what means a product of mixing typical rock sounds with other genre, for example pop, funk and punkrock. Among their 5-Track-Demo EP, they also present their first 13-Track-Album called “DETOXIC”, which is available since March 2005. All lyrics are written by Mela, who is the singer of the band. She also composes the songs together with TMP,the man behind the electric guitar. Dojo (bass) and Freak (drums) are polishing the preliminary products. As examples of inspiration, they take artists like Ac/Dc, Alanis Morissette, Tracy Bonham, Aerosmith, System of a Down and Linkin Park, furthermore 60`s / 70`s rock music. As you can assure yourself of the Rocquette-power by listening to “DETOXIC”, the strong point of the band is definitely playing live on stage, presenting different impressions with the objective of touching, more than one audience.
