Ruby Friedman
Emerging from the wreckage of rock and roll bands in Los Angeles, Ruby Friedman triumphs as the one voice that can merge the history's best stylings and counterpoints in a genre ever-changing and evolving. A student of History at UCLA, she borrows heavily from an inspiration steeped in reference and celebration of her favorite eras and heroes, whether they are baseball players or Shakespeare, or fictional NOIR characters, as in "SEX". Amazingly, on a zero minus budget, she garners the attention of rock critics and DJ's, and well-known musicians lend their talents on her recordings. Among those, Tony Gilkyson, Billy Zoom, DJ Bonebrake, Michael Ward, Dave Sutton, John Taylor, and Arlan Schierbaum.
