Sara Van Buskirk is a local Houston Singer/Songwriter. Sara first picked up a guitar at age 8 and awkwardly taught herself to play. After years of adolescent writing, practicing and constantly volunteering her musical talents, she finally emerged on the downtown Houston scene & surrounding areas in 2005. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan to Cat Power, her soothing sounds can be heard in local wine bars or coffee shops around Houston. With a new marraige of sounds between her acoustic guitar and the cello of another local artist, Val Young, you are sure to sit back and relax or sit up and think.
