Sempa Fi's
The long awaited and highly anticipated self-titled album by Hip-Hop duo, Sempa Fi’s is scheduled for release in early 2007. Described as the most unique Hip-Hop recording to hit the streets of Halifax to date, Sempa Fi’s have taken aim at the competition both locally and abroad. Drastic’s slick production and Crazy J’s introspective lyrics combine to create an “experience” which exposes the fine line between reality and insanity through the complex thoughts and experiences of a labeled “psycho”. Inspired by such Hip-Hop legends as Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep and Gang Starr, Sempa Fi’s debut album provides a rhyme and production style which has dug a deep trench around the fringes of the mainstream.
