Serge Bédrossian is an author- composer-interpret who sings popular songs10 languages : French, English, Armenian, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Russian, Hebrew et en Dialect. Originally from Armnian, he was born in Syria. At the age of 12 years, he bought his first guitar that he still keeps until today. He composed his first music at the age of 16, while at the age of 20, he filled up his notebook with music and song lyrics. At an early age, he went to France to continue his studies at the university of Montpelier in the Medicine program where he transferred to physiotherapy and worked in that field for many years. Meanwhile, Serge discovers his passion in music, so he studies tonic solfa, chant et theatre in dramatic arts at the University of Montpellier in France. In 1980, he arrived to Quebec to continue his studies in music : chante et interpretation, theatre, tonic solfa, text and music composition at Lasalle Conservatoire, Rosement College and at the Unversity of Montreal. He studied with Clairette, Robert Léger, Roger Ferber and Catherine Pinard. He plays two musical instruments: Piano and Guitar . He continued presenting different concerts such as : Multicultral Concert in 10 Languages, Serge Bédrossian, author-composer-interpret, “Homage to Charles Aznavour”, Serge Bédrossian and Charles Aznavour, etc. In addition, he participated in different Artistic events: the Montreal 350th Anniversary, The Quebec Dollard Festival, le centenaire of st-laurent city, etc., several musical comedies and he realised many apparitions on the television et in the Cinema. Il a won the provincial competition of Québec « Pour cinq minutes de gloire » at the « Télévision Quatre Saisons » and the « Super Talent » compition. He possess an album of 200 originales songs. He revisite his idole’s repertory of pieces, Charles Aznavour and he adds to it his personal touch, as well as he sings his own compositions. His musical style reflects an eventual influences : Armenian, Arabic, Italian, European (Aznavour, Adamo, Enrico) et american (Elvis, Humperdinck, Sinatra). His performances on stage, in his concerts and on television, as well as his passion for the chant has always contributed to turn his concerts to a real success for him and a delight for his spectators.
