Shabazz
The New York group Shabazz featured vocalist Paul Stewart, drummer Marc Poussaint, keyboardist Wesley Walker, and guitarist Dennis Brown. They recorded with Cosit, a local label, in 1986 and had a mild international hit with "Unified." They did two other songs, then recorded briefly for RCA in 1990. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
