Silent Fate
Silent Fate is the culmination of many good things coming to an end so that one great thing can have a new beginning. The original band was formed in 2001 and their self-titled debut CD was received well by an enthusiastic public, but alas it was not meant to be. Artistic differences began to pull the members in different directions and, ultimately, the band was dissolved. Circa 2006: With a partially recorded Autumn Machine gathering dust on the shelf, founder Anthony Paganini began the daunting task of Silent Fate's postmortem reconstruction. As owner/operator of The Mess Studio in New York, Anthony unwittingly auditioned new members over the years while producing their bands. The new lineup was no chance happening. Each member was hand-picked by Paganini based on specific qualities he wanted for his new vision. After some extensive harassment, Steve, a.k.a. "Squich" (Shatterpoint), came out of retirement to join up. His solid rhythm and excellent ear for detail made him the perfect candidate to fill the rhythm guitar position. A student of Al Pitrelli and absolute musical prodigy, Frank, a.k.a. "Junior" (Kaffiene), originally came onboard as a guest lead guitarist, but once Anthony heard him smoke the frets it was all over. Then there's Alessio (Among The Sick and Comatose). Silent Fate needed a dynamic front man with the screams to give the music that hard edge Anthony felt it needed. That's exactly what he got! Rounding out the lineup is Danny (Suicide City). His aggressive chops and high-octane double-bass coupled with his surgical precision gives Silent Fate's rhythm section the attitude Anthony was looking for. Now Silent Fate has risen from the ashes to come back with a vengeance. Already getting rave reviews for The Autumn Machine, this lineup will surely launch the band to a new level. Some might call it destiny, some might call it fate. Either way these guys are silent no more!
