Sir Kris
Sir Kris (aka the Silent Monk) began his music career as a proud member of the Immortal Drunk Monks (formerly known as the Ninja Boy Crew)--a talented family of b-boys, MCs, and graf artists turned DJs mostly found wandering the streets of Hercules, CA. Although Sir Kris was the last of the Monks to learn how to mix and scratch, he would be a key player in widely representing the group's talents by performing at house parties, bars, clubs, and record stores. He soon started experimenting with music production in 1998, initially buying a DR-202 drum machine to create break beats to scratch to. He later expanded his studio gear and began inviting resident rappers to flow over his fresh new material. Later joined by fellow Drunk Monk, Brian P., the two blended their distinct styles to create a newer Bay Area sound.

The concept of your creativity is amazing and flows with alignment of substance. To break that down, the rhythm and dynamics are in sync with the transitional mode. Yeah, I'm only eighteen, but I know talent.......Cuz I am talent, as well. Stay up man!

His droning, laid-back beats might make critics believe that he is just another fish in the sea of producing; however, Sir Kris's unique flair and almost siren-like calls draw the attentive ear into a wild journey of unexpected turns and majestic imagery.
