evilkingston's Album Review for Life
""
life = beautiful
The ultimate Sizzla album has landed. Sizzla has grown a lot since the wonderful 'Son of Ethiopia' album (1999) and the influence of Jah, Ganja smoke & king Selassiah has calmed him down. This album is funkier then the earlier works. Funkier and perhaps also better produced. What it lacks in rawness (listen to earlier work), it supercedes in silkiness. Sizzla isn't at all silky, no no, his voice and message are still raw, but it's al easier to listen to - pleasantly produced with nice beats and keys. I would've given this album the maximum quotation if it were not for the last 3 songs. In my view not bad (not bad at all), but in a completely different feel then the rest of the album - better left them out and put them on a more romantic Sizzla-album, like: Soul Deep (2005).
