scaryness's Album Review for Reign in Blood
""
Fast guitars, fast drums, fast screaming
Not really a great deal of variety, but as far as fist-in-the-air, mosh-stomping adrenaline, this one doesn't play around. Fast and to the point, with all of the ten songs except for two clocking in at under three minutes time. Not as many inner-song time changes as the band will incorporate in the near future, though "Angel of Death" and "Epidemic" shift riffs nicely about halfway through.
Other highlights include the solid low-E work on "Postmortem," the churning ride of "Raining Blood," and the furious hitters "Altar of Sacrifice" and "Jesus Saves."
If you're looking for up-tempo, there are no low points on this disc. Fast guitars, fast drums, fast screaming.
