Sonic Tribe
Sonic Tribe's unique and rhythmic ethnic fusion is a result of the various upbringings of the five musicians in the group. Consisting of members Beth Quist, Gina Sala, Greg Callahan, Dean Evenson and Scott Huckabay, the group blends the dreamy feel of New Age music with the exotic beats of world music. Their debut, Sonic Tribe, came out in 2000 and made a splash in the yoga world due to the album's relaxing tones and soothing feel. 2002's Spirit Rising was a success in the New Age press, which praised the group for their groovy blend of genres. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
