Bassist Brad Divens formed Baltimore's Souls at Zero with guitarists Jay Abbene and Terry Carter, and drummer Shannon Larkin. Formerly known as Wrathchild America, they released two albums for Atlantic Records (Climbing the Walls and 3-D); the band switched names and moved to Energy Records where they recorded Sixty-Six (1994) and A Taste for Perverse (1995).
