"Stones in Pockets" is the new acoustic rock solution with melodies dedicated to life, love and inspiration. New York's singer/guitarist Nate Saider and German lead guitarist Phil Langer formed "Stones In Pockets" in March of 2005. They were inspired by the sound of the mid-nineties alternative rock bands and the "MTV unplugged" movement. Records like Pearl Jam's "Ten", Soundgarden's "Superunknown" or Alice in Chains' "Jar of Flies" influenced the songwriting and feel of "Stones In Pockets". Although the acoustic guitars resonate the sound of this band, with Brazilian bassist Bruno Costa and Ecuadorian drummer Pier Cardenas, "Stones In Pockets" has a kicking rhythm section that definitely defines them as a rock band. Their self-produced, currently untitled EP, will make it's debut this year.
