Superpeter
Superpeter has been writing lyrics and making music since 1978. He has been recording since the early 90's with various bands behind him, including the Evry Spinning Bear solo project, the Blue Heaven Green band, and most successfully, as "Tedd", the leader of theMatter (usually listed as The Matter or Matter, The) and their "Without Ruth" rock opera album. theMatter was about to be picked up by Atlantic before it lost its amazing drummer, Rob Kittleson. Later, Tedd morphed into Zero, the iconic guitarist and vocalist of Billions of Hot Machines (or "The BOHM"), a rock electronica project with theMatter's keyboardist-turned-synthesist partner, Ed McKearney. theMatter was one of the first artists on Michael Robertson's mp3.com and Tedd talked to the billionaire CEO well-after a successful IPO launch of the company. Tedd and several other mp3.com artists enjoyed their first taste and financial benefits of being a shareholder of a corporation and owning an amazingly successful stock at pre-IPO set price. All the various players/members and production/studio personnel are in the San Diego area, with exception of the emotive drummer Rob Kittleson. The various incarnations of Superpeter (pronounced su-PERP-eh-ter) all hail from Oceanside, California.
