T-Model Ford
Like most Fat Possum artists, T-Model Ford plays raw, juke-joint blues. And like fellow Fat Possumers Junior Kimbrough and R.L. Burnside, Ford's opportunity to cut albums arrived late in life; he was around 75 when his debut Pee-Wee Get My Gun was recorded in 1997. Even by Fat Possum standards, Ford's sound is pretty bare and raw, usually featuring only shuffle drums and Ford's basic, buzzy chords and riffs.
