TEKNEEK/RAP

MySpace Generators Contact Tables MySpace Editor Pimp Top Friends MySpace Codes In December of 1982, Tekneek was born on a US military base in Berlin, Germany. When he was 2 he came to Colorado. One of the first places he called home was in the infamous Wheatherstones of East Colfax. He ended up going to 10 different schools and has lives in West Denver, North Denver and Aurora. When he was 17 Tekneek was expelled from school and decided to make hip hop his career goal. After a short stint with North Side rapper, Chronickill, Tekneek found himself living in several different houses; calling anywhere home that would accept him. Eventually Tekneek was forced out on his own. It was then that he crafted his street hustle and hit the block. Between shows and local battles you could find him hustlin on da street from Capital Hill to A-town. After a strong performance at the DMC Championships in 2002, Tekneek signed a record deal with Blackangel owner Dynamight. After a mix tape, a few singles, and many show collaborations, Tekneek and Dynamight decided to go separate ways musically, but still remain close friends. A new project under Blackangel is expected in the near future. Currently Tekneek is the co-executive producer of his own album called, "Stop Lookin and Buy It" which comes out on May 8, 2007. The other executive producer is LBS., who is responsible for the beats, mixing and recording on the album. Wayne Stylez produced the beat on "Direction of Change" and sang the hook on "Get High". Many expect "Stop Lookin and Buy It" to be one of the best hip hop/rap albums to ever come out of Denver.
