The Almighty RSO

Hailing from Boston, the mid-'90s rap group the Almighty RSO (which stands for "Rock Solid Organization") is comprised of Deff Jeff, E-Devious, Tony Rhome, and Ray Dog. After releasing an EP, Revenge of da Badd Boyz, in 1994, they delivered their full-length debut, Doomsday: Forever RSO, in the fall of 1996. The album became a success on the strength of the hit single "You Could Be My Boo," which featured guest vocals by hip-hop diva Faith Evans. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
