Formed as a result of the Short Fuses and Arizona's the Peeps joining forces, this all-female group entered the studio in 2001 to record its debut album. Compared to groups like the Muffs and the Runaways, the American Foxes toured the Midwest in 2002 in preparation for its debut release.
