The Bipolar Bears are a virtual band comprised of four cute manic-depressive bears (Wayne Brown, Harold Grizzly, Joaquine Panda and Simon Polar) based in the Underground River Cave, Palawan, Philippines. Not much is known about the creators but it is believed that The Bipolar Bears is an ongoing anthropological experiment on globalization. The bears have been the top audience-picked artist in the Art Rock/Experimental genre at download.com for two straight years and will be signing with a reputable indie label soon. Due to copyright issues, the band will drop the present name and will be carrying a new band name soon, with one membear asking, “Hey humans, any suggestion?” Recording of the follow-up to Water Therapy will commence in mid-October.
