I grew up listenining to The Carpenters. I know the whole family, and even though Richard is the only one still living. He and his children are still keeping the music alive. Karen's voice was irreplaceable, but her music lives on.
The Carpenters were, and still are the most relaxing music to listen to. With Karen's unmistakeable voice, and Richard's piano. To me, they are priceless. I know the family well, and even though Richard is the only one living now. His children sing as well. I wrote some lyrics for Richard, and he loved them. I felt pleasure from this. I continue to write for other artists as well, and enjoy it, and as I do my own music, I hope you find pleasure in hearing it. Give it a listen.......Joey La Fayette

carpenters is my all-time fave artist, the songs are humble, and simple. i don't even have to raise nor lowering down my voice, because we had quite the same range of pitch. melodius, and i just wished she's still here to sing more
