patricia_sas's Album Review for The Carpenters
""
carpenters is my all-time fave artist, the songs are humble, and simple. i don't even have to raise nor lowering down my voice, because we had quite the same range of pitch. melodius, and i just wished she's still here to sing more
i was listened to carpenters first time in kindegarten, 'top of the world' as the background for my dance perfomance. then sometimes at home, from the radio, i was getting like their music. the notes are melodius, the words humble and simple, but it's meaningful. i played carpenters now for my children too, teach them how music can be good, and most of all, sing-able !! sometimes i thought karen sang her own sign of depression, several songs described that like "rainy days and mondays, where do i go from here, i need to be in love, goodbye to love, etc" but despite that i felt so sorry about her tragedy, i still make those songs my fave collection.
may you rest in peace, karen ... keep workin', richard .. i'm still listening to all your works
