The Distance
Connecticut hardcore band the Distance formed in 2002 and immediately set about recording their first demos, some of which were released on 7" vinyl over the next couple of years through independent labels like Takeover and Bridge Nine. Comprising vocalist Jason, guitarists Dobyns and Lonn, bassist Legg and drummer Chino, the band released a six-track EP, Your Closest Enemies on Bridge Nine in 2004, and three tracks for a split-CD with in-state rivals With Honor, released in 2005 by Martyr Records. 2006 saw the release of their full-length CD/DVD debut on Abacus Recordings, The Rise, The Fall and Everything in Between. ~Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
