In the summer of 2006, guitarists Brandon Smith and the man known as Garret, along with drummer Tom Wallenfeldt started rocking out together. They quickly realized the need to start a band; on that fateful day, The Doods were born. As the months went by, and the setlist grew longer, The Doods recruited bassist Jeff Hanson to complete the band. Since that time, The Doods have played numerous shows in the Macomb, Illinois area. The Doods are now working on production of their first album entitled "One Long Song".
