The Dudley Corporation, an indie pop trio from Dublin, Ireland, consists of Dudley (guitar and vocals), Joss (drums, accordian, vocals), and Pip (bass). The group took formation in 2000 after Joss decided to help Dudley with some songs he had written; Pip joined in shortly thereafter. The trio made their debut in November of 2000 through a split single with Joan of Arse on Jonathon Whiskey. Three months later, another split single (this time with Paul O'Reilly) followed on Dublin's Scientific Laboratories imprint. The Morning After, a three-song single of their own, was released on Obelisk in August. All of this led to the full-length The Lonely World of the Dudley Corporation (Scientific Laboratories again), which hit shops near the end of 2001.
